Came here on a taco Tuesday night at 11 pm didn't expect service to be much since they were about to close. Glad me and my friends decided to go in anyways, parking was easy to find . They have parking all around and very cheap at that. I paid $3 for 2 hrs Soon as we enter the host greeted us and told us we could sit anywhere. From then on we got checked by what seemed to be one of the owners of CHWA. She made sure our waiter came after only waiting 10 mins. I decided to try 3 of their taco options (Griot, Steak & Chicken) ,out of the 4 I believe. GRIOT TACO was the winner, chicken taco can be deboned a bit better but it was good too. My least favorite was their steak taco. I'm usually a steak fan but the flavor wasn't my cup of tea, despite how good looking it came out. Drinks were great and strong ! Also they provided games to play, how thoughtful and fun Amazing job team ! Thank you for the great service last night . I'll be back
Great location on a lively street in Hollywood, Fl, about halfway between both Miami and Fort Lauderdale. We enjoyed strong drinks, great music by the DJ and prompt service from our server. The space is lovely boasting tables, high top/bar seating and a sunken couch seating area in which a birthday party was taking place. Looking forward to trying some of the dining selections in the future.
I love this for the Haitian culture. The food is delicious! It's full of flavor. I always sit at the bar and the service is always good. They play music (Afro beats, kompa, r&b) I love the vibe. The fried snapper and the grilled conch are my favorite. They also have a guava punch that's so tasty it goes perfect with the food. Things I don't like: I smelled like food when I left there. The owners family walking around freely just staring. I mean, unless you're asking customers for feedback then I understand but they don't. All in all I love it there and I'll recommend.
